As a general rule of thumb, I’ve noticed that the cost of prescription medications can be so expensive. I’ve seen this happen with the generic version of Celebrex and I think that’s probably the reason. If I’m going to purchase an over-the-counter medication, I should be able to afford it. When you purchase an over-the-counter medication, the cost of the medication can be a bit higher. I also know that people have to be careful when purchasing medication over-the-counter. I don’t know if that is true of some medications and that’s why I’ve started this post.

I’ve written a lot about prescription medications, and I’ll be covering some of the reasons for this. It’s important to remember that there are many different options out there for getting over-the-counter medications like Celebrex and other prescription medications. So, if you’re going to buy over-the-counter medication, you should make sure you’re getting it from a pharmacy. Here are some reasons why some over-the-counter medications are not available to buy without prescription:

Drugs with no prescription

There are so many different medications on the market that it’s difficult to tell which one is better. It’s important to talk to your doctor before you start taking any new medication, or if you’re unsure about the medications you’re taking.

Here are the three most common drugs that are available over the counter:

Oral Celecoxib:

  • Celebrex 200 mg
  • Celebrex 400 mg
  • Celebrex 800 mg

Cimetidine:

  • Cimetidine tablets
  • Cimetidine capsules

Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)

  • Pantoprazole (Zegerid)
  • Proton pump inhibitors (e.g. amoxicillin, amoxicillin-clavulanate)
  • Celecoxib (Celebrex)

Other anti-inflammatory drugs

  • Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)
  • Methyl salicylate (Excedrin)
  • Methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Rheumavari)
  • Pimozide (Zyrtec, Zyrtec-P)

Acetaminophen (Tylenol)

  • Pemetrexed (Pemetrexed)
  • Amiloride (Amiloride)

Over-the-counter and prescription medications

There are many different types of over-the-counter medications available, and the list above can be a bit confusing. I’ve included a list of common over-the-counter medications, as well as the reasons they’re not available to buy. I’ll explain the reason why they’re not available to buy, and how you can make sure they are.
